Langan's Restaurant

Keith Floyd's favourite restaurant in London

The legendary 'Langan's Brasserie' situated just off Piccadilly, continues to go from strength to strength after more than 30 years.

With it's Anglo/French style of cuisine it remains one of London's top eateries to be seen in for Celebrities, Business People & Joe Public alike.

With it's constant 'Buzz' and 'Hustle & Bustle', walls covered with fine art and our famous haphazard selection of lampshades, the Ground Floor has such a unique atmosphere that once you've experienced it, you'll want more.

Plus, the late Keith Floyd, a great chef and all round superb chap, declared it his favourite restaurant in London!

In 2012, the fabulous Patrick Procktor mural of Venice that adorned a massive wall in the first floor, has been restored to it's former glory. The former owner, Peter Langan, varnished over it while drunk and in a rage that it wasn't a winter scene as requested but a summer scene.

Location: Stratton Street, Piccadilly, W1J 8LB

This is where Ronnie Barker and Ronnie Corbetts families held a party on March 18th 1979 to bid everyone farewell before they all went to Australia for a year. Their producer Harry Fielding was taking their Palladium show to Sydney for a year. Richard Beckinsale, Barkers co-star in classic sitcom Porridge, attended and when they arrived in Australia Barker received a phone call saying that Richard had not woken up the folowing day and was pronounced dead.
