The Plough Inn
The Plough has a ghostly past - the raven haired Sarah.
This classic British boozer is famous for an incident in 1970 when newly appointed Landlord Felwyn Williams and his wife discovered strange things occurring at night. (*According to Guy Lyon Playfair citing Peter Underwood.)
The top floors of the pub currently an O'Neills had long been reputed to be haunted and it wasn't long before they saw the presence of a woman in her thirties, staring into space with long black hair. Within weeks, Mr Williams had left the pub saying that he had an acute awareness of the apparition called Sarah while describing the experience akin to a mild electric shock lasting up to a minute.
Rex, the landlord's dog, refused to venture upstairs while the ghosts publicity' reduced the number of locals coming through its doors.
No further occurrences reported since, unless you know different.
