Oliver Twist's Literary Home
Home to the 'Charles Dickens Museum' and 'Oliver Twist'
'Charles John Huffam Dickens' (7 February 1812 to 9 June 1870) was the most popular English novelist of the Victorian era, and he remains popular, responsible for some of English literature's most iconic characters.
And so to this very address...
48 Doughty Street off Gray's Inn Road was where he wrote 'Oliver Twist'.
It's now the Charles Dickens Museum.
