Charles Dickens Coffee House

Charles Dickens lodged here and now you can take coffee here

Today you can have coffee and a snack in the Charles Dickens Coffee House in London's Covent Garden. It's on the ground floor of the building that was the office of his popular weekly magazine All The Year Round, published in 1859-70.

Dickens lodged at rooms above the editorial offices in the late 1860s for a few years before he died in 1870.

Location: 26 Wellington Street, Covent Garden, WC2E 7DD
