Brunel University is a public research university located in Uxbridge, London, United Kingdom.
It was founded in 1966 and is named after the Victorian engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel.
Amongst other things, it famously appeared as the The Ludovico Centre in the classic 'A Clockwork Orange'.
A Clockwork Orange is a 1971 film written, directed and produced by Stanley Kubrick, adapted from Anthony Burgess's 1962 novella A Clockwork Orange. It features disturbing, violent images, facilitating its social commentary on psychiatry, youth gangs, and other social, political, and economic subjects in a dystopian, future Britain.
