Old Bank of England Pub

A Grade I listed building erected in 1888.

This impressive Grade I listed building was erected in 1888 as the Law Courts Branch of the Bank of England. It was designed in the Italianate style, popular at the time. Ironically another historic pub, the Cock, was moved across Fleet Street to make way for the new bank.

Location: 194 Fleet Street, WC2A

Very impressive. But can one get a drink here? (Peter)
